How to revise a quote

When a customer asks for changes, create a new version of the quote rather than editing the original. WorkshopMax keeps every version so you have a clear record of what was offered.

Instructions

1. 1
   Open the quote and click Revise.

   This creates the next version (v2, v3…) with all the original lines copied across.

2. 2
   Make your changes to the new version.

   Add, remove or reprice lines as needed — the earlier version stays untouched.

3. 3
   Send the revised quote.

   The customer receives the new version; the version label makes it clear which is current.
