Topic

A stocktake counts what's physically on hand and reconciles it against the system, so your stock figures — and the shrinkage report — stay accurate.

Instructions

  1. 1
Start a stocktake from Inventory → Stock Control.

This opens a count sheet of your items.

  2. 2
    Count and enter the actuals.

Work through the list entering the quantity you actually have; the mobile app is handy for counting on the floor.

  3. 3
    Review the variances.

WorkshopMax shows the difference between counted and expected for each item.

  4. 4
    Commit the stocktake.

Committing adjusts stock to your counts and records the variances.

Additional Information

Variances feed the inventory shrinkage report so you can spot losses over time.

Stocktakes started on mobile sync back to the web, so you can count on the floor and review at the desk.
