Topic

When you email a quote, the customer gets a link to view it online and either accept or decline — no account needed. Their decision, and who made it, is recorded against the quote.

Instructions

  1. 1
    Send the quote by email.

The message includes a secure link to the online quote.

  2. 2
The customer opens the link and reviews it.

They see the same branded quote, with Accept and Decline buttons.

  3. 3
They accept — or decline with a reason.

An accepted quote is stamped with the acceptor's name and time; a decline captures the reason.

  4. 4
    Follow up from the quote.

Accepted quotes can be turned into a job in one click; declined ones can be revised and re-sent.

Additional Information

The accept/decline event appears in the quote's document history, so you always know where things stand.

A decline reason helps you decide whether to re-quote, adjust scope or move on.
