WorkshopMax can turn a description — typed, dictated, or a photo of the work — into draft quote lines, preferring your own price-book items where they match. You always review and edit before saving, so it's a fast head start, not a black box.

Instructions

  1. 1
Start a new quote and open the AI drafter.

Look for the 'Draft with AI' option on the quote.

  2. 2
Describe the job, dictate it, or add a photo.

Type or speak what's needed, and/or attach a photo of the site or fault; the more detail, the better the draft.

  3. 3
    Generate the draft lines.

WorkshopMax proposes line items — matching your price-book codes and labour rates where it can, and estimating the rest.

  4. 4
    Review, edit and save.

Adjust quantities, prices and descriptions, then save the quote as normal. Nothing is sent until you send it.

Additional Information

Drafts are estimates to refine, not final prices — always check them before quoting a customer.

Because it prefers your price book, the more complete your price book, the more accurate the drafts.
